New Beginnings annual car show will be held Saturday, August 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and trophies are awarded at 2:30 p.m. Contestants can register the day of the event for $15. Proceeds will benefit the Adult and Teen Challenge of Firelands and New Beginnings A/G Children’s and Youth Ministries.
The car show will be partnered with the Seneca County Safe Communities.

Tiffin Parks and Rec are hosting their 3rd annual VB(All) Nighter on Saturday, August 25th at Hedges-Boyer Park! You can register by emailing email@example.com. Registration fee is $100. Winners of the tournament will receive $ 200.00 and 2nd place will have registration waived/returned. All other proceeds will be donated to charity. Hurry to register because the first 16 teams will be entered!
Test your boat building skills and enjoy a fun, event filled day at the Bel-Mar Boat Landing for Tiffin’s second“Minimal Regatta”. Co-sponsore are the Bel-Mar Boat Landing and the Tiffin Elks Club. The Regatta is open for participation by individuals or teams up to 5 members. Each team will build a one person, self-powered boat from minimal materials. (one sheet 4×8 x ¼” plywood, two 2’x4’s, a pound of fasteners, and a roll of duct tape). The boats will race around cones on a short course set in the Sandusky River directly off the landing at the Bel-Mar. Awards will be presented to the race winner, the best boat design, and the best sinker. The team entry fee is $50.00. Each team will be provided with discount coupons to purchase materials locally. Team members will receive gift packs with tee shirts and other goodies.
